Families are the heart and soul of Simply Gray Photography. It is where Simply Gray started back in 2009. I love that my family sessions give you time to focus on what matters most in life!
Children and Family Sessions are fun, relaxed, and include lots of playing, giggles and hugs. I don’t ask you to smile. I want to capture your child’s or family’s natural unposed self. Sessions are held at your home or on location as agreed upon during our pre-session interview. These one to two hour sessions can be for your children or your entire family. It is a special time to shut out the world and simply spend time together and have some family fun. This is how I capture the sparkle and connection that makes your family special.
Ask about our upcoming Portrait Days. I set the date and location, you pick the time. The last time slot of the day receives a sunset session.

I will ask for a session fee to reserve your session date. Then I will send you an information packet with helpful tips to prepare for your session. I will also send you a questionnaire to help me get to know your family and prepare for your session.
Before your session we will have your pre session consultation. This will be over Zoom. You can schedule your planning session here Planning Session Booking. l use this time to get to know your family and children better. I also like to ask how you might imagine displaying your images. This information helps me know what kinds of images you are after and how best to structure your session. I will also answer any questions you may have. Every session is unique. Please allow up to 1-2 hours for a session (or up to 3 hours for a newborn session). The session time really depends on our goals for the session and also on your children. Some children warm up easily and some children need a bit more time. I don’t like to force the session, so I appreciate it if you dont have something you need to rush to after the session. We take plenty of time for rests, cuddles and snacks.
Number one thing to remember is to relax and be ready to have lots of fun with your loved ones. Leave all the hard work to me!
If I ask you to sit as a family and just let you sit ... don’t worry. Just have fun together. Enjoy this time you have without laundry ... computers ... iPhones ... or whatever other distractions take us away from our beautiful children. This is your family time ... and I am here just to help you capture these special moments. So just sit back ... watch your children and enjoy. Oh and smile :)
Even when everything seems to go pear shaped, remember to smile. Because the crazy moments usually create some of the most beautiful and precious portraits.

Approximately 2-3 weeks after the session I will send you an email with your on-line gallery and password. This gallery is accessed through my website and is available for 1 week. The gallery can be shared with family and friends. During this week, I will help you find the perfect way to display your beautiful images. After your order has been submitted and confirmed with payment you should receive your photographs or other products within 3 -6 weeks. Delivery time depends on product ordered.
All Ordering Sessions are currently being held via Zoom, until we can meet in person at my residential studios at 25 Bellavista Road, Glen Iris. To schedule your Ordering Session click here Organise my Ordering Session. During the consultation I will help you find the perfect way to enjoy your images for years to come. I will have a selection of sample products for your experience. It is highly recommended that both parents attend the session. This enables you to have time to focus on your beautiful family images and then perhaps have a quite coffee together afterwards before heading home.
Your order is due at the completion of your Ordering Session. Any orders made after the Ordering Session may incur a $100 rescheduling fee.
Payment is due at the time of placing the order. If there is an issue with payment, please contact me for options.

Session fee is $550. This includes:
A pre-consultation session to design your personalised session
Complimentary hair & make-up for one person
Photography session
An in-person or Zoom ordering session
Packages start at $2,200 and my individual images start at $700. Framed fine art prints start at $2,000. All images come with their matching digital keepsake file.
What you purchase is completely up to you. I will work with you to help you find the perfect collection for your family. One you will treasure for years to years to come. And we will have lots of fun along the way …. Promise!
