Tracy Busse left South Africa on her 29th birthday with nothing but a dream, built a career in organisational psychology and human resources, and in 2010 survived a sudden cardiac arrest that stripped her of everything she had used to define herself. What followed was not just a physical recovery but a complete reckoning with identity, with vulnerability, and with what it means to truly be present in your own life. She has since founded Waveform Consulting, built a community for cardiac arrest survivors, become a patient advocate, written a memoir, and trained as a Stillness Meditation teacher, bringing to others the practice that mirrors the peace she felt in the moments before she was brought back.

Her message to other women: you do not have to wait for everything to be okay before you can enjoy life. Joy and pain can coexist.
