Portrait sessions for your Year 6 graduate.

A big milestone in a family’s and child’s life happens at the end of Grade 6 and the beginning of Year 7. It is a time of transition into the next stage of the child’s learning and personality. Many aspects of life that defined them in primary school soon become memories of childhood. Somehow, when they walk out the front door in February to start high school everything changes. They come home taller, braver and with a newfound independence.

I don’t know about you, but these memories of childhood are ones I don’t want to forget. They are not only important to our children but also to us as parents.

The Year 6 Celebration Photoshoot isn’t your typical school photograph. In this session, work with your children to capture their passions, personality and style.
Together we will create keepsakes they will cherish for life.

The Graduate sessions capture the end of an era for your child and your family.
These moments pass quickly, so now is the perfect time to create this legacy for the Year Class of 2023.

  • Contact Simply Gray to select the date and time of your session. Your session can be held at our studio in Glen Iris, or at an outdoor location.

    Before your session, we will have a Consultation Call via Zoom to plan your session. We will discuss things like, what you want to wear, where you want to be photographed, who will join you and if you have a special passion you want to be captured in your session. Are you a footie player, basketballer, netballer, ballerina or maybe even a violinist?

    For all sessions in our studio, you will have the ability to view your images directly after your session. All other sessions will have a REVEAL Session scheduled a few days later via Zoom.

    The Graduate session can include just the graduate, or family and/or pets can come along also.

  • Your Graduate will receive:

    • A pre-session design consultation to plan your session & tailor your session to you and your vision, vibe and passions.

    • Professional Hair Styling

    • Professional Makeup Artistry

    • A fully guided, professional photo shoot in multiple looks that showcases all your vibes

    • We welcome your loved ones and/or pets to join us during your session or at the end of the session.

    PLUS

    • You will have an in-person reveal session, where you will be able pick the images you love.

    • You will be gifted 1 image that will be used in your own Magazine Cover that will be delivered as a digital file.

    • Additional images will be available for purchase, but there is no requirement.

  • The Graduate session includes all of the above for a $550 non-refundable session fee.

    Your session comes with 1 image and a custom magazine cover. You are not required to purchase anything else.

    However, if you want more images, images start at $700. Our Graduate packages start at $2200 for 5 images in a beautiful legacy box, perfect also storing school memorabilia.

    *On-location session times may vary due to lighting and weather conditions. A $ 200 weekend fee applies.
