I am still that vibrant woman
I have always been.

For my 50th, I was photographed in New York City by the Portrait Madame herself, Alice Prenat.
I was anxious.
I didn’t lose the 5 kilos.
I tried a new beauty product and had spots on my face.
I had to drive to NYC myself, park and find a hotel.
The investment was high, hello $USD.
I was downright scared, and I know how to pose!I was hoping Alice would see past my flaws and bring out my strengths.
OMG … those nerves melted away and I had an amazing experience. I walked out of that session feeling empowered and inspired. I even had lunch by myself in the city. Now I have images I adore. I use them in my marketing and I have a legacy box full of images I can look at when I am not feeling my best. They remind me of what an incredible woman I truly am. That wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t been photographed.And, my kids will have these beautiful images of me in the future alongside those awful (but fun) iPhone Selfies with our dog. We need to build the legacy we want to leave.
I proved to myself I was on the right path. I am so honoured that I can give this same gift to other women that Alice gave to me.

You will be part of a historical project shining the light on women. As for your photo shoot, you will receive:
A pre-session design consultation to plan your session & tailor your session to you and your vision
Professional Hair Styling
Professional Makeup Artistry on the day of the photo shoot. You will feel and look amazing!
Access to our studio wardrobe
A fully guided, professional photo shoot in multiple looks that showcases aspects of you that reflect everything that you love about being YOU.
We welcome your loved ones and/or pets to join you during the end of your session.
PLUS
You will have an in-person reveal session, where I will help you select the images you love.
You will be gifted 1 image plus your own Magazine Cover Digital File, plus your story on Simply Gray’s Blog and a feature on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
You will be invited to an exhibit featuring you and the other 2024 Wise Woman.
This is a powerful experience that you can experience for yourself or give to a loved one.

Your Wise Women package includes all of the above for a $550 fee. The value is over $1200.
You will have the option to upgrade your digital magazine cover to a framed A2 Poster!
You will have the option to purchase additional images if you like. If you purchase a Simply Gray Collection, your session fee is credited towards your collection cost.
With every Wise Women session, a $50 donation will go to The Go Girl Foundation, supporting women at risk.
Wise Women Sessions are held on limited Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am and on limited weekends. Limited weekend sessions are available, a $200 weekend fee applies.

A portion of each session fee will go directly to the The Go Girl Foundation. The Go Girls’ purpose is for every woman to have a plan. The Go Girls Foundation supports:
Women who are unemployed to gain employment
Women who have experienced domestic violence to move towards independence
Migrant women who have faced social isolation to engage in their community
Women who have experienced homelessness to overcome their circumstances
Women recovering from breast cancer to find a new pathway
Women in the workplace to take on leadership roles
Women in business grow
I personally have seen the Go Girls in action and have met many of the women the Go Girls have supported. They have changed women’s lives for the better, thus helping not only the women but also the communities they live in. In being part of this project, you are not only doing something for yourself, you are helping the Go Girl Foundation support woman who need the extra help.
I'm here to show you that you are perfect exactly as you are today. No one has ever said 'She should have waited until she lost 20 pounds before being photographed.' They HAVE said 'My mom was incredible wasn't she?'
I photograph women of all sizes.
All skin tones. All ages.
You will enjoy a completely tailored experience in a comfortable, warm, and welcoming environment. I adore seeing the transformation occur with everyone I photograph; they arrive nervous, even timid, often apologising for not losing the 5 kilos or getting a breakout the night before (like that is anyone’s fault). Our studio is a judgement-free zone. I watch women start to relax during hair and makeup and throughout their session they start to stand taller, let their guard down and allow themselves to be truly seen. It's magnificent to witness and capture each and every one of them.
It's NOT our goal to photograph PERFECT women.
It IS our goal to CELEBRATE every woman who walks through our door.
