Alexandra is a remedial massage and shiatsu therapist, marriage celebrant, private investigator and truck driver, a woman who has never followed one path. She moved from France to Australia at 19 and built a life through hard work, curiosity and a willingness to say yes to whatever came next. Years later a mysterious illness left her struggling to breathe, and it was not until 2018 that doctors traced the cause to implants she had chosen in her twenties. A full explant surgery gave her, in her words, a second chance at life, one she has used to requalify across construction, celebrancy and more.

Her message to other women: I always thought my health and strength were my superpower. When we are young we never imagine things will change. But they can, and sometimes very quickly.
