Jen is an engineer turned sustainability leader, now working in social housing to help develop practical solutions for the people who need them most. She grew up on a dairy farm in regional Victoria, where a teacher once suggested she become an engineer, and she became the first woman in her family to go to university. She spent years often the only woman in the room, in manufacturing and engineering leadership, before finding her way into sustainability and then the not-for-profit sector.

Her message to other women: surround yourself with women who truly support you, encourage you, and stand beside you, and be that person for them too.
